Hello Friends!
Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! As the end to this pandemic is now in sight, are you ready?
What are your dreams and goals today? Are they different than before 2020?
Where are you headed in life? Are you happy and smiling as you head into your future or do you see it as a series of never-ending days chugging caffeine and just getting through?
I’m feeling like I’m getting back on track. For the past year I have been reacting to the evolving pandemic situation like many of you. In the beginning it seemed like things changed on a daily basis and then it seemed like everything just kept dragging on. I am so glad that we are returning to a semblance of normal here in Vermont.
I am still working on my third novel, which I had planned to have done six months ago. A lot of things changed and I’m being kind to myself about setbacks and rearranged priorities. I always try to remind myself to be happy doing what I love, living my best life.
If you’re struggling, remember to visualize your success as we continue to forge ahead in a world that is everchanging. We need to work to achieve our dreams but not work to the exclusion of the life that is right in front of us.
Visualization is a known method to help people achieve their goals. Visualization puts all the steps that you have been taking toward your goals into perspective. Seeing and feeling the result of your hard work and planning helps you stay on track even if priorities have changed. Just take stock of where you are today and visualize your best tomorrow.
Some tools to help you on your journey are the “Creative Visualization” book and the “Creative Visualization Workbook”.
“Creative visualization is the art of using mental imagery and affirmation to produce positive changes in your life. Whether you read it for general inspiration and empowerment or to achieve specific goals (financial, creative, medical, career, relationship), Creative Visualization remains a profoundly powerful resource from a uniquely warm and wise teacher.”
I hope that this helps you visualize your best life and helps you on your personal journey toward being the best version of yourself and living a life that you love.
Have a great day,
Dottie Lake
