How to Live a Life that You Love ❤️

Hello Friends!

Living a life that we love sounds simple, but in reality can be quite difficult.

Societal norms tell us that we should be competitive, be the best, do more, be more, out-do others, and climb that ladder.

Oh, and we aren’t really supposed to like our jobs!

Or, we are supposed to want to sit on a beach somewhere and do nothing. That’s fine for a vacation, but forever?

What if that’s not what makes you happy?

Now, are you feeling different, odd, unusual, and uncomfortable. Like a square peg in a round hole?

Don’t get me wrong, I want to be the best that I can be, but part of that is being happy, having little stress, and enjoying all the important moments in life. So, how do we find a way to make a living and have a life that we love?

First, identify what makes you happy.

For me, that’s being a Mom, writing, working with people, gardening, making jewelry, crocheting, and managing my little hobby farm.

Next, generate several ideas on how each of these could become a money generating avenue.

Examples of this, I sell eggs, produce, scarves, hats, jewelry, and write articles and novels. This allows me to work part-time in hospitality (a job that I love and gets me great discounts on vacations).

Finally, set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks that will help you reach your ultimate goal of living the life that you love. I use a planner to keep myself on track with my goals.

This lifestyle did not happen overnight for me, but was the result of following a plan of targeted changes over the course of several years. But now I have a life that I love.

I hope that each of you reading this today, has the life that you love. If not, please take some time to take some steps in that direction, because you deserve it.

Have a Great Day,

Dottie Lake
